It's beginning to feel a "bit" like christmas....

Hello all my wonderful blog friends...if you are still all there...lol...coz it sure has been a while! Life just has a way of getting too busy doesn't it? Menial things like work and responsibilities (hee hee)have a habit of getting in the way of doing what we really want to do dont they?

Oh well, as Ned (Kelly that is) said - "such is life...."

I am pleased to say that (apart from getting anything else done that I am supposed to) I have managed to make a start on my christmas decorating.

It is Sunday morning, hubby was having a well earned sleep in, so I  thought this would be a great time to share some pics with you...

Please allow me to show you around my now "somewhat Christmassy" home....I hope you like enjoy the tour...

As you walk in the front door....welcome!

Now lets toddle on into the back family room...
I have decorated this room mostly with snowmen. I dont know why but I think the blue and cream tones of this room lend themselves to a few cool snowies!

This room is a bit more Santa and red and green themed.....

...this time they're of goodies for my upcoming market next weekend. (Saturday 8th- Richmond Showground )

    That's the spirit!!!! Maybe I should make the effort to get my Christmas trees up early this year instead of a couple of days before Christmas? xxxx

I'm a bit late with this post...... but better late than never has always been my motto! Now..... the little cutie-pie pictured above I am sure you will recognise as my little neice Charlotte and ... although I am struggling to believe it.... she is one already!!!...my how time flies. Eighteen pair......and counting!!!

Regular followers of my BLOG would be aware of my passion for all things "old and prairie" and in particular my fetish for old victorian boots, about which I have written on a couple of occasions. Well.......I have been on the scout for some for a couple of my customers and happened to come across a few lovely pairs....four to be precise....however as it seems to be with everything else in my life...this was not to be without dilemma...lol The dilemma this time.....how do I sell them when they are just so perfectly prim & prairie and especially when I DON'T have a set like that in my collection??? Well the four pair quickly went down to three, then two...then one.....oops!!!..(be strong lassie and put at least one pair back)... aaaagggghhhhhh ........back to two again, but very reluctantly!!...lol I decided to keep these two pair (youno coz I truley-ruley need them) Anyways I have today popped the remaining two pair up on my Little House

It's not a long time in the scale of things

  It's only taken me 4 years to get my act together ...(can't rush these things can you)...but I'm back! Lots of  life's highs and lows over the past few years... wont get into the nitty-gritty as you guys don't want to hear about that ....but for most part... my absence has been due to returning to full time work. I am loving the extra $$$ ...but sadly I've found myself very time poor. I'm pleased to say that she now has a name....Sienna Rose to be exact.
