In Good Company...

Writer's block????....hah!!! ...I know!!!...you have to BE a writer to have writer's block...but hey...I'm struggling here so that counts doesn't it?......lol

I'm not sure that it is necessarily that I have nothing to write about...in fact my head is full of trivial information, silly stories to tell and many a useless fact. .....the fact of the matter is I am just plain tired...knackered, worn out.......tuckered ! ......Waaay too tired to get the brain to work...so,  I am afraid that it will be just useless dribble that you will be receiving for my post.this week .lol.

I lay the blame soley on myself....firstly we were away for most part of the weekend (GREAT I hear you say!!....well....NOT!!!!....but our trip away is a story for another day)...let me just say it would have been much more restful having all my teeth pulled...lol.... Seriously!!!

Well ....to cut a long story short....I arrived home to a list a mile long of outstanding jobs to be done, all of which have looming deadlines. So, not being one to buckle under the pressure I did what any conscientious business person would do to make things better....I headed straight for my office, determined to tackle the problem head on.....promptly picked up the the phone....... and had a good old natter for a couple of hours to my good friend Jackie.

It didn't lighten my workload in the slightest but it sure made me feel better...lol

There were a million productive things I should have been doing today...sewing , ordering, accounts etc etc etc...maybe even some of the insummountable household chores....but nup...not me!!! I just did what I do best...what comes naturally.....gas-bagged!!

I did manage however to get my orders from last week packed...but that's all folks!!

They say that if you want something done just ask a busy person...but I reckon you shouldn't be asking this busy person or you may not get what you were hoping for...unless of course it involves a telephone...lol

Maybe my dad is right....he always tells me I could talk under wet cement!!!

I'm a bit late with this post...... but better late than never has always been my motto! Eighteen pair......and counting!!!

Regular followers of my BLOG would be aware of my passion for all things "old and prairie" and in particular my fetish for old victorian boots, about which I have written on a couple of occasions. Well.......I have been on the scout for some for a couple of my customers and happened to come across a few lovely pairs....four to be precise....however as it seems to be with everything else in my life...this was not to be without dilemma...lol The dilemma this time.....how do I sell them when they are just so perfectly prim & prairie and especially when I DON'T have a set like that in my collection??? Well the four pair quickly went down to three, then two...then one.....oops!!!..(be strong lassie and put at least one pair back)... aaaagggghhhhhh ........back to two again, but very reluctantly!!...lol I decided to keep these two pair (youno coz I truley-ruley need them) Anyways I have today popped the remaining two pair up on my Little House

It's not a long time in the scale of things

  It's only taken me 4 years to get my act together ...(can't rush these things can you)...but I'm back! Lots of  life's highs and lows over the past few years... wont get into the nitty-gritty as you guys don't want to hear about that ....but for most part... my absence has been due to returning to full time work. I am loving the extra $$$ ...but sadly I've found myself very time poor. If you read back through my last post from April 2013... 😲... you will see that when I last left off I was most excited to have welcomed my new little niece (no name at that stage). I'm pleased to say that she now has a name....Sienna Rose to be exact. At first her big sister Charlotte wasn't to sure about the new addition to the fam-bam but skip to 4 years later and she is now her much loved (and I'm told very annoying) little sister.
