An update on my previous post..."I've always fancied myself as a Prairie Girl"....

Lansakes…….

I thought I would never find them

…….but just in the nick of time

……..and lucky as church day is tomorrow!!!

I thought I was going to have to wear my old blue bonnet that has seen better days
….. but there they were …

…….right where I had left them

….in my old sewing box with the lavender bundle…..

….. my lucky rabbits foot and and my best fishing hook!....
Now if I can only find my Lemon Verbena….???

I know I shouldn’t wear perfume on the “lords day”
…but Johnny Johnson will be there!!!!

    The ribbons are perfect, I knew you would have them tucked away somewhere. Better put the smelling salts in your Reticule when you go a prayin' tomorrow. You may have a fit of the vapours if Johnny Johnson looks your way. I really don't think it's seemly though, a young thing like you batting her lashes at the lads (and in Church too!)

I'm a bit late with this post...... but better late than never has always been my motto! Now..... the little cutie-pie pictured above I am sure you will recognise as my little neice Charlotte and ... although I am struggling to believe it.... she is one already!!!...my how time flies. Eighteen pair......and counting!!!

Regular followers of my BLOG would be aware of my passion for all things "old and prairie" and in particular my fetish for old victorian boots, about which I have written on a couple of occasions. Well.......I have been on the scout for some for a couple of my customers and happened to come across a few lovely pairs....four to be precise....however as it seems to be with everything else in my life...this was not to be without dilemma...lol The dilemma this time.....how do I sell them when they are just so perfectly prim & prairie and especially when I DON'T have a set like that in my collection??? Well the four pair quickly went down to three, then two...then one.....oops!!!..(be strong lassie and put at least one pair back)... aaaagggghhhhhh ........back to two again, but very reluctantly!!...lol I decided to keep these two pair (youno coz I truley-ruley need them) Anyways I have today popped the remaining two pair up on my Little House ...

It's not a long time in the scale of things

  It's only taken me 4 years to get my act together ...(can't rush these things can you)...but I'm back! Lots of  life's highs and lows over the past few years... wont get into the nitty-gritty as you guys don't want to hear about that ....but for most part... my absence has been due to returning to full time work. I am loving the extra $$$ ...but sadly I've found myself very time poor. If you read back through my last post from April 2013... 😲... you will see that when I last left off I was most excited to have welcomed my new little niece (no name at that stage). I'm pleased to say that she now has a name....Sienna Rose to be exact. At first her big sister Charlotte wasn't to sure about the new addition to the fam-bam but skip to 4 years later and she is now her much loved (and I'm told very annoying) little sister.
